Online Classroom Timer & Countdown
How to use the classroom timer
- 1
Choose your time
Tap a preset (30s to 10 min) or type a custom number of minutes and hit Set.
- 2
Start the countdown
Press Start. The number counts down and the progress bar shrinks so the whole room can follow along.
- 3
Go full-screen
Hit Fullscreen to project the timer on a board or screen. A sound plays when time's up.
A visible countdown timer is one of the simplest ways to keep a room focused. Teachers use a classroom timer for tests, group work, and transitions; trainers use it to time activities; and presenters use it to keep sessions on schedule. When everyone can see the time remaining, pacing takes care of itself.
This online timer shows a large, high-contrast display with a progress bar and an audible alert when it reaches zero. Use the full-screen mode to project it, and the preset buttons to switch durations in a single tap. Everything runs in your browser — nothing to install.
Timing questions is exactly what Zingo Ringo does automatically: every question in a live quiz race has its own timer, and players race to answer before it runs out.
